CLEVELAND - Idaho linebacker Ed Hall was named to the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) Academic All-Star Team, the organization announced Friday. The academic all-star team featured 47 football student-athletes from around the FCS. Hall is one of three Big Sky representatives, joined by Montana's Dante Olsen and UC Davis' Wes Preece.
Hall carries a 3.83 grade-point average in mechanical engineering and recently completed his Idaho career with 239 tackles, including 61 as a senior to rank fourth on the Vandals in 2018, despite missing two games due to injury. He was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 First Team for the second consecutive season.
