SPOKANE—The Vandal women’s tennis closed out the weekend with a 4-3 loss to Gonzaga on at The Stevens Center.
Idaho started strong, taking the doubles point. Marianna Petrei and Lucia Badillos conquered Sissi Koehler and Domonique Garley, 6-4, on the No. 3 court. Gonzaga got back to even with a 6-3 win on the No. 1 court. Rita Bermudez and Maria Tavares scored a 7-5 win in No. 2 play, securing the point.
Gonzaga pushed back in the singles play, taking the first four points.
