CHENEY, Washington- The University of Idaho Women's basketball team (14-8,9-4) improved to 9-4 in Big Sky Play with a dominating 75-46 win over Eastern Washington in Cheney. The Vandals exploded for 44 points in the second half. Four players scored in double-figures for Idaho led by Gina Marxen who recorded her first career double-double with 18 points and 12 assists.
THE GAME
Beyonce Bea opened the scoring for the Vandals with a three-pointer just 20 seconds into the game. After falling behind 8-7, Gina Marxen drilled a three-pointer to give Idaho a 10-8 lead at the 6:23 mark.
