OGDEN, Utah— The Big Sky Conference announced its preseason women's basketball All-Conference team on Wednesday.
Mikayla Ferenz and Taylor Pierce, nicknamed "The Splash Sisters," were two of six players from across the conference acknowledged on Wednesday morning, with Ferenz selected as All-Big Sky MVP and Pierce named to the preseason all-conference team. The voting panel consisted of the league's head coaches, sports information directors and media members.
"Mikayla and Taylor have had great careers so far here at Idaho, and I am happy to see the respect they have earned from the coaches in the league," said head coach Jon Newlee.
