The University of Idaho Track and Field program is thrilled to announce the commitment of Zac Knapp of Enterprise High School in Enterprise, Oregon.
Zac's list of accolades is long and impressive. As a sophomore in 2019 Zac showed tremendous promise as a distance runner posting a personal best time of 9:11.6 seconds in the 3000 meters placing first at the Oregon
1A/2A State Championship. After a shortened 2020 season due to COVID-19, Zac returned to the track this past spring and resumed his championship pursuits. He was a double state champion, in the 1500 meters and 3000 meters, at the 2A Oregon State Championships where he ran a personal best time in the 1500 meters of 4:10.
