MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Carmen Hewlett as the Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) and Head Athletic Trainer.
"I am excited to have Carmen rejoin our Vandal program," Director of Athletics Terry Gawlik. "She will work closely with me on projects, our Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), and represent Idaho athletics at Big Sky Conference meetings. She will be a great addition to our athletic department."
Hewlett will assist in ensuring the representation of women's interests, experiences, and perspectives in the decision-making process in intercollegiate athletics at Idaho in addition to her role overseeing the athletic training efforts.
