FULLERTON, Calif.—Career-highs from junior Geraldine McCorkell and senior Karlee Wilson helped the Vandals to an 88-86 victory over Cal State Fullerton on Monday. McCorkell led the game with 30 points for Idaho, while Wilson handed out 10 assists.
Similar to the season-opening win at Seattle U, Idaho found itself trailing late in the fourth quarter. Fullerton erased a 10-point second half lead Idaho had built to retake an 82-81 lead with 1:43 left in regulation. Mikayla Ferenz outletted to McCrokell who drilled her third 3-pointer of the game to get Idaho back in front, 84-82, with 1:35 to go.
