Idaho is 4-4 overall and 2-2 in the Sun Belt Conference, while Louisiana-Lafayette is 3-4 overall and 2-2 in league action. Both teams had byes last Saturday and both have played Sun Belt members New Mexico State and Appalachian State. Both lost to Appalachian State, while the Vandals beat New Mexico State 55-23 and ULL lost, 37-31, in double overtime.
THE COACHES
PAUL PETRINO is in his fourth season at Idaho. While it is his first head coaching job, it is not Petrino's first stint at Idaho. His coaching career began at Carroll College (his alma mater, 1989).
