FARMINGTON, Utah (January 4, 2022) – Following a season without a Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship, all 22 programs are prepared for a big season of competition. In preparation, the league office has announced the 2021-22 Preseason Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Coaches' Polls.
The Lumberjacks of Northern Arizona have been tabbed as the projected top team on both the men's and women's sides going into the season receiving all 11 first-place votes.
The preseason rankings are voted on by the league's head coaches.
NAU's men have won nine consecutive Big Sky Indoor titles dating back to 2012 and have won 11 of the previous 12 available trophies.
