MOSCOW, Idaho- The University of Idaho Women's basketball team (13-6,8-2) defeated the Sacramento State women's basketball team 70-44 in Cowan-Spectrum Arena on Monday night. The Vandals scored 47 points in the second half to cruise to their eighth conference win of the season. Gina Marxen led Idaho with 18 points while Beyonce Bea and Lizzy Klinker chipped in 14 and 10, respectively.
THE GAME
Idaho found themselves behind to the Hornets after just scoring six points in the first period. The Vandals began to find offensive rhythm in the second period, scoring 17 points.
