UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - Idaho men's golf took 15th at the Redhawk Invitational, which wrapped up Tuesday at Chambers Bay Golf Course. The Vandals finished the tournament at 8-over (860), led by freshman Colt Sherrell's 2-under 211. Sherrell tied for 26th, highlighted by a career-best 67 in the opening round.
"Everybody who played for the Vandals feels like they left three to four shots out there," said head coach David Nuhn. "Today, collectively, we just weren't as sharp as we needed to be with our execution. We missed the wrong shot at the wrong time.
