Wolfsburg make £24million bid for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-min

Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg have made a £24million bid for Tottenham Hotspur's South Korean attacker, Son Heung-min.

Dieter Hecking's German side are yet to receive a response from Spurs, who signed the now-24-year-old on a five-year deal from Bayer Leverkusen for £21.9m last August.

Son scored eight goals in 42 games in all competitions last season, but failed to establish himself as a regular first-team player ahead of the likes of Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Dele Alli.

The Lilywhites' signing of striker Vincent Janssen from Eredivisie outfit AZ Alkmaar this summer, to compete with last season's Premier League Golden Boot winner Harry Kane, has raised further doubts about Son's future at White Hart Lane.
