Three of the men behind Hull City’s promotion success have been recognised at tonight’s EFL Awards ceremony.
Head Coach Grant McCann has been named League One Manager of the Season after masterminding the Tigers’ promotion back to the Championship at the first attempt.
Consistent left-back Callum Elder and influential midfielder George Honeyman have been included in the League One Team of the Season.
The pair have made 42 and 41 league appearances respectively, with Elder providing nine assists and Honeyman contributing four more.
Honeyman made the three-man shortlist for League One Player of the Season but missed out on the award to Peterborough United forward Jonson Clarke-Harris.
