Social Media Boycott

Hull City will unite with clubs across the Premier League, EFL, WSL and Women’s Championship for a social media boycott this weekend.

The boycott is in response to the ongoing and sustained discriminatory abuse received online by players and many others connected to football.

This will take place from 3pm on Friday 30th April to 11:59pm on Monday 3rd May.

The club will remain silent on social media during this period, as will the players and senior staff, academy and Tigers Trust.

We would like to encourage all supporters, fan groups, partners and stakeholders to also switch off their accounts to emphasise that social media companies must do more to eradicate online hate.
