Winger McCauley Snelgrove focused on how the team’s hard work secured the Tigers a 3-1 victory over Bristol City U23s in the Professional Development League.
The second-year scholar netted twice as another goal from Ahmed Salam secured the Under-23s the victory at the LNER Community Stadium.
“To get a result against the Southern Champions is obviously credit to what we’re trying to do,” said Snelgrove.
“If I’m honest, we weren’t at our best and the lads know that, but to get the result against Bristol City shows the hard work both on and off the ball.
