Slater Delighted With Goal & Win

Regan Slater expressed his delight after Hull City came from behind to see off Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium on Tuesday night.

The midfielder was part of a trio of substitutes to score for the Tigers in a second-half turnaround, and the 21-year-old was thrilled to get off the mark in black and amber.

“I’m delighted and I’m sure the other two lads are as well,” said Slater. “The changing room afterwards was delighted with the three points, especially after coming from behind.

“The gaffer told me as I was coming on to start making the box, which is obviously where mine and Keano’s (Keane Lewis-Potter) goal came from, so we listened to his advice and thankfully it paid off.
