Ryan Mason has no immediate plans to quit football after seeing a specialist last Friday.
Hull City's England midfielder has not played since fracturing his skull in a clash of heads with Chelsea's Gary Cahill in January.
But the most recent scan revealed that the bone is continuing to heal, providing the 26-year-old with encouragement that in time he could yet play again.

The only issue is how long it takes Mason to make a full recovery, and whether any further surgery may be required.
