England manager Gareth Southgate will be at Everton’s game at Hull with Ross Barkley desperate to prove why he deserves a place in his next squad.
Southgate is travelling to the KCOM Stadium and has been keeping an eye on Barkley, who is keen to get back into the Three Lions’ thoughts.
Barkley was omitted from Sam Allardyce’s one and only England squad previously and that surprising snub was then followed up by Southgate in October and November.

England played World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia in October, then Scotland and Spain in November, and went unbeaten without 23-year-old Barkley.
