Robert Snodgrass snubs new Hull City deal as midfielder stalls on committing future to Premier League strugglers

Hull City's leading scorer Robert Snodgrass has turned down a new contract offer as the Humberside club continue to face an uncertain future on and off the pitch.

Snodgrass, 29, has decided he is unwilling to commit long-term with The Tigers unsure of preserving their Premier League status and owner Assem Allam reportedly trying to sell up.

The Scotland international midfielder has only six months left on his present deal though the club can trigger a 12-month extension before January 1.

However, they may decide to try and cash in on the £4million-rated star in January or the summer rather than allow the set-piece specialist to run his contract down.
