Robert Snodgrass enjoys fine start to Premier League season at Hull City

A fortnight after dropping a point in stoppage time when losing 1-0 to Manchester United, it was Hull City's turn to snatch one back late on to draw 1-1 with relegation rivals Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Robert Snodgrass' 95th minute free kick was the least caretaker Mike Phelan's side deserved after twice hitting the woodwork and fluffing chances to take the lead ahead of Steven Defour's spectacular opener. On a ground where City had lost 10 of their previous 12 visits, the last-gasp draw was gratefully accepted.

Positives

There is a lot to like about the team Phelan is cultivating and the spirit of a side widely tipped for relegation was again apparent at Turf Moor.
