The apology from Robert Snodgrass following his disgraceful dive to get Hull a penalty achieves nothing.
It doesn’t mitigate his action, nor take away that he cheated to try to get his team three points.
It was clear at full speed — Snodgrass dived and there was no contact from Scott Dann.

If he was truly sorry he could have missed the penalty, and if he felt bad he would not have argued when Mike Jones correctly punished his foul on Wilfried Zaha for Crystal Palace’s penalty.
