Lewie Coyle has been speaking about the ‘perfect’ first season playing for his hometown club after getting his hands on the Sky Bet League One trophy.
Coyle has helped Hull City to a first league title in 55 years and says the way the season has ended still feels ‘unbelievable’.
“It’s been as perfect as perfect can be,” said Coyle.
“So many boxes have been ticked, so many goals have been achieved and so many dreams have come true. I said to my old man at the end of last season, after I’d been heartbroken at losing out in the play-offs with Fleetwood, that I would get him that winner’s medal one day so this is for him, my mum and my whole family.
