Grant McCann reflected on a good night’s work after Hull City comfortably saw off Rochdale.
Mallik Wilks’ 19th goal of the season and an own goal from Gabriel Osho sealed a straightforward 2-0 win over struggling Dale, who finished with 10 men after Conor Shaughnessy’s 77th-minute dismissal.
“It’s another clean sheet, two goals scored, three points, another goal for Mallik,” said McCann.
“The win tonight puts us on the same amount of home wins as we’ve had away (nine).
“Communication, distances of the team were very good. When we broke, we were good and looked like we could score more attacks.
