Grant McCann has hailed the goalscoring form of Mallik Wilks, with the forward firmly on course for his best career goal tally.
The 22-year-old has netted in each of his last three games and leads the Tigers’ goalscoring charts with 12 in all competitions.
Wilks’ previous most productive scoring season came under McCann at Doncaster in 2018/19, plundering 16 goals in 55 matches – 14 of them in League One.
The Hull City dangerman is closing in on those figures with half a season still remaining, and McCann has been thrilled with his contribution.
