Grant McCann hopes to see more of the same from Tom Eaves and Regan Slater following their performances against Gillingham.
Eaves led the line against his former club and scored a fine back-post header, while Slater looked assured in a deep-lying midfield role.
The pair were making their first league starts since January and December respectively and could feature again against Crewe Alexandra this afternoon.
Injury problems have restricted Eaves’ involvement this season but McCann is hoping the forward can now build on an encouraging display.
“Tom’s trained really well this week,” said McCann.
