McCann Laments Game Management

Grant McCann lamented his side’s game management after Hull City fell to a dramatic 3-2 defeat at Blackpool.

Reece Burke’s 89th-minute header looked to have rescued the Tigers a 2-2 draw after goals from Jerry Yates and Keshi Anderson had overturned Mallik Wilks’ opener.

But CJ Hamilton’s 93rd-minute strike won it for the Seasiders and condemned McCann’s men to back-to-back defeats for the first time this season.

“The game management from us tonight was dreadful,” McCann admitted.

“We were quite comfortable in the first half. We knew their threat was to try to get Hamilton and (Sullay) Kaikai in behind us on transition.
