Thomas Mayer believes every member of the Hull City squad will have an important part to play this season.
The 25-year-old has made five appearances for the Tigers since arriving at the KCOM Stadium last month – four as a substitute.
The Austrian winger came off the bench to set up the winning goal for Mallik Wilks with a pinpoint cross against Crewe on his home debut.
And Mayer says all substitutes must be ready when called upon to influence a game, insisting his only focus is helping the team.
“When you come into a game, you must change the game,” said Mayer.
