Marco Silva and Hull face stiffest test of season in trip to Stamford Bridge

On the day it became clear that Marco Silva would be the new coach tasked with saving Hull City from Premier League relegation, it is safe to assume that Wikipedia searches for the Portuguese boss spiked in East Yorkshire.

For all of his success at home with Estoril and Sporting Lisbon and then with Olympiakos in Greece, Silva was a stranger to English football. Even the lofty comparisons to compatriot Jose Mourinho had failed to make it to these shores.

Silva's appointment as City's head coach was best described as brave for a club rooted to the foot of the table, but two weeks into the job and the sceptical voices are beginning to waver.
