Josh Magennis says he was pleased with the way Hull City responded to last week’s defeat with a dominant 3-0 win over Rochdale on Saturday.
The Northern Irish striker missed the defeat away at Fleetwood due to international duty, but was back in the team and on the scoresheet for the Tigers’ reaction at the Crown Oil Arena.
“It was a great reaction from the game at Fleetwood,” said Magennis. “We didn’t do ourselves or the Club justice given the start to the season we’d had. As much as we wanted to win two or three-nil, it was important that we got our performance right too.
