Long Impressed With All-Round Display

George Long was impressed with his side’s performance at both ends of the pitch in the 3-0 win over Accrington.

Mallik Wilks, Gavin Whyte and Josh Magennis scored the goals as Hull City moved to the top of League One.

It could, and probably should, have been more convincing, with the Tigers registering 18 attempts – seven of them on target.

Long’s goal was rarely threatened – the visitors mustering just two shots on target as Grant McCann’s men recorded a 15th clean sheet of the season.

And the 27-year-old keeper, who has started the last four league matches, was full of praise for an accomplished team display.
