Defender Andy Smith admits he has some "mixed emotions" after completing his move from Hull City to Gillingham after a successful loan spell.
"Hull is my boyhood club, I've got a lot of love for a lot of people, the fans," the 23-year-oldtold BBC Radio Humberside.
"I'm obviously sad to be leaving but at the same time, I'm delighted to be going to Gillingham where I can go and showcase what I can do.
"I moved up here with my family when I was one year old; Hull is all I've ever known."
Smith came up through Hull's youth ranks but only made seven senior appearances for the side, one of which came in the Championship.
