Jose Mourinho has refused to acknowledge one of Hull City’s goal, claiming the Sky Bet EFL Cup semi-final finished 1-1 at the KCOM Stadium.
Mourinho was aggrieved at the awarding of a penalty in the 35th minute after Marcos Rojo was adjudged to have pulled Harry Maguire’s shirt.
United lost the tie 2-1 but progressed on aggregate, having won the first leg at Old Trafford 2-0 and will face Southampton in the final on February 26.
Mourinho, who was celebrating his 54th birthday, said: "We didn't lose, it was 1-1. I only saw two goals.
