Callum Jones won’t be forgetting Hull City’s victory at Harrogate Town in a hurry.
In just his fifth appearance for the Club, the 19-year-old was handed the captain’s armband for the first time at senior level.
Not only did he shine at right-back, the youngster scored his first career goal after winning and then converting a penalty.
His memorable night was topped off with a clean sheet as the Tigers ran out 2-0 winners in Papa John’s Trophy Northern Group H.
And the Wales U19 international admits it was a great feeling to skipper the side, having only found out earlier in the day.
