James Weir becomes second player in two days to move from Manchester United to Hull City

Hull City have continued their late-summer transfer dash by signing James Weir from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old midfielder has agreed a three-year deal at the KCOM Stadium and becomes caretaker boss Mike Phelan's fourth signing inside two days - and the second player in as many days to trade the three-time European champions for Hull.

Striker Will Keane made the move from United to the newly promoted Tigers on Tuesday, when Phelan also brought in Ryan Mason from Spurs and Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall.
