Goalkeeper Dillon Phillips said he has not just joined Hull City to make up the numbers, he has every intention of vying for the number one spot.
Phillips signed for the Tigers in June from Rotherham but he will face tough competition to break into the starting XI after an impressive 2024-25 campaign from Ivor Pandur, who was named the player of the season.
"If I said to you that I was going to come in and be happy to be a backup to Igor, then that would be doing myself an injustice," Phillips told BBC Radio Humberside.
