Until the axe fell on Claudio Ranieri last week, a trip to Leicester City appeared to be one of the more inviting fixtures left on Hull City's calendar.
An opponent in freefall, devoid of direction was an attractive proposition. Premier League champions or not, the Foxes had come to resemble a soft touch in a hard-nosed relegation scrap. Seven days on from Ranieri's departure, however, Saturday's trip to the King Power has become an altogether different challenge. Marco Silva might prefer an inward focus but he will not need telling the powers of change.
They are two months behind but Leicester City have followed Hull City's lead.
