Hull City have not commented on a report that they could be edging closer to a takeover by Chinese investors.
The Hull Daily Mail reported that Dai Yongge and Hawken Xiu Li tabled a bid for the Tigers last week, and that representatives of their consortium were shown around the club's Cottingham training base on Monday.
Sources told ESPN FC the report was accurate, but a Hull spokesperson did not comment on increasing speculation that owners Assem and Ehab Allam will sell.
Three weeks ago, the club issued a statement that said discussions about a sale had been put on the back burner until after the summer transfer window.
