Hull caretaker Mike Phelan makes a plea for players as depleted Tigers make it two Premier League wins from two at Swansea

If you are a professional footballer and fancy playing for Hull, then please get in touch.

That was the message from Mike Phelan, the former Manchester United assistant and current Hull caretaker who has overseen two successive wins with only 13 fit first-team players to choose from.

Hull saw off Swansea on Saturday but are the only English top-flight team to have not made a signing this summer. They have owners who want to sell, a fed-up fanbase and 10 days to add to their squad.
