Hakeeb Adelakun joins Hull City on season-long loan

Hull City are delighted to announce the signing of winger Hakeeb Adelakun on a season-long loan from Championship side Bristol City.

The 24-year-old, who becomes the Tigers’ ninth summer signing, has previously played in League One with Scunthorpe and Rotherham, where he won promotion last season.

Born in Hackney, the 6’3” wideman was on Crystal Palace and West Ham’s books as a youngster before moving to Glanford Park in 2012.

A League Two promotion winner in 2013/14, he helped the Iron reach the third-tier play-offs in two successive seasons and scored 19 goals in 169 Scunthorpe appearances overall.
