Hull City Under-18 Henry Curtis admitted the performance in the opening stages of their Professional Development League fixture against Nottingham Forest wasn’t good enough.
The Tigers conceded twice in the opening ten minutes in a 2-1 defeat, with Harvey Carew scoring in injury time for John Anderson’s side.
“I thought we crumbled in the first fifteen minutes and we didn’t have that togetherness we usually have,” said Curtis.
“However, I think after that spell and throughout the full second half, we managed to get ourselves back into the game and we stuck together and on another day, it could have been a different scoreline.
