Cartwright Signs New Deal

Young goalkeeper Harvey Cartwright has signed a new three-year contract, with a Club option of a further year.

The 18-year-old, who joined the Tigers at Under-13s level, made his senior debut in the Papa John’s Trophy match against Leicester City Under-21s back in September.

The Grimsby-born shot-stopper has also been capped at international youth level, playing for England’s Under-18s in a 3-2 win in Austria in October 2019.

Head Coach Grant McCann said: “Harvey is a really good up and coming young goalkeeper.

“He’s had a taste of first-team football already and we see him developing into a very good goalkeeper at this football club.
