Burnley 1-1 Hull City: Vincent Kompany's side fail to make dominance pay

Burnley's frustrating start to the new Championship season continued as they were held at home by Hull City.

But it was a familiar pattern from there on for Vincent Kompany's side as they totally dominated the game, and enjoyed a mighty 77% of possession, but failed to find a winner as frustration grew around Turf Moor.

Since beating Huddersfield on the opening weekend, Burnley have now drawn 1-1 twice either side of Friday's 1-0 defeat at Watford..

The point added to Hull's impressive start to the campaign with two wins and two draws.

It was the visitors who took the lead as Tobias Figueiredo's clearance was headed on by Oscar Estupinan and into Tufan's path.
