Hull City head coach Sergej Jakirovic believes it was his side's shape that was the reason behind their 3-1 win against Southampton on Saturday.
Goals from Kyle Joseph, John Lundstram and Oli McBurnie saw off a struggling Southampton all despite the Tigers having less than 30% possession of the ball.
"I'm very happy because the players put everything out on the pitch with energy, with intensity," said the Bosnian to BBC Radio Humberside. "We were struggling in some situations because Southampton is a very good team, invest a lot of money and they will fight for promotion for sure because this is traditional.
