The sole goal of the NFL regular season is to make the playoffs. That’s it. Everything else is moral victories, adjustments made based on where the franchise is in their competitive life cycle. For the Houston Texans, making the playoffs, after an 0-4 start, would be a near impossibility that only one team has ever pulled off.
Because of that, this season is all about enjoying every week, and everything, and having our football team back again. It’s pool side sitting. The end result of who wins and loses doesn’t really matter anymore. Having a good time while trying not to get sunburned is the only thing that does.
