TMZ reported today that Houston Oilers legend and H-Town icon Warren Moon is hoping to reach out to Deshaun Watson.
Now, nothing in the video indicates if he feels a certain way about Deshaun’s allegations. He just mentions that “I’d like to reach out to him and just make sure he’s doing OK and how he’s getting through this whole thing.” He also acknowledges that Watson is likely attending camp to avoid massive fines ($50k a day).
It’s pretty well known that Watson and Moon have been close in the past as they both were titans of Houston’s football history.
