The Texans enter Sunday night’s nationally televised game against Kansas City ranked fifth in defense, 14th against the run and ninth against the pass.
The defensive players will have their hands full at NRG Stadium because the Chiefs have their most explosive offense under Andy Reid.
The Chiefs (4-0) are the NFL’s only undefeated team. They’re second in offense, including first in rushing. The Texans have to contend with rookie running back Kareem Hunt, receiver Tyreek Hill and quarterback Alex Smith.
Hunt leads the league in rushing with 502 yards and averages 7.4 yards a carry.
