Former Texans quarterback Brandon Weeden has agreed to terms with the Tennessee Titans, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
A former first-round draft pick from the Cleveland Browns, Weeden auditioned for the Titans on Wednesday along with T.J. Yates, Matt Barkley and Matt McGloin.
Weeden was released by the Texans one year into a two-year, $4 million contract and due a $1.55 million base salary and won two games for them during the 2015 season as an injury replacement.
The Texans, with injuries and needs at other positions, opted to go with two quarterbacks and released Weeden, who had two touchdown passes and one touchdown run during a Dec.
