The Texans worked out running backs Akeem Hunt and Charles Sims, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
Hunt has a previous stint with the Texans.
Hunt last played for the Texans last year before being released.
He has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens.
Hunt has rushed for 228 career yards and averaged 5.1 yards per carry. Hunt has caught 13 passes for 99 yards.
