Texans work out tackles Chris Clark, Austin Howard, Cornelius Lucas

The Texans auditioned several offensive tackles Tuesday following a season-ending broken ankle for veteran right tackle Seantrel Henderson.

They worked out former Texans starting offensive tackle Chris Clark, former Indianapolis Colts and Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Austin Howard and former Detroit Lions offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.

Clark, 32, knows the Texans' system and has started 26 games for them over the past three seasons since being acquired in a trade from the Denver Broncos.

Clark started eight of 10 games for the Texans last season before being placed on injured reserve.
