Texans work out Johnthan Banks, Stanley Jean-Baptiste

The Texans worked out defensive backs Johnthan Banks, Stanley Jean-Baptise and B.W. Webb, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.

The Texans are looking for reinforcements after cornerback Kevin Johnson suffered a Grade 2 sprained medial collateral ligament in his knee and will be out four to six weeks, according to sources.

Banks is a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-round draft pick from Mississippi State.

He's also played for the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.

Jean-Baptiste is a former New Orleans Saints second-round draft pick from Nebraska. He's also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions.
